I've developed quite a fondness for antique needlepoint candle mats and am snapping them up whenever I come across them

but I can see enough through the beading to be pretty certain the surface of the ball

well worn but completely sturdy and solid

Much Loved Antique Patchwork Doll Quilt with Great Indigo Print Reverse goose Smaller measures 6 3/4" longThis old doll quilt has seen a lot of use, with some of the squares on the patchwork face fairly threadbare or loose along one seam or another, but I find it very beautiful, and the reverse side equally so.(How I would love to have many yards of that indigo!) Stable and really not fragile, but very tender feeling indeed. 18 3 4" x 10". Wear and age and fading as evident but holding together and not fragile.
