Original French Napoleonic Era Officer's Saber with Brass Scabbard Circa 1805 German Field Equipment of which 12Original Item: Only One Available. This is just splendid, brass, originally gilt mounts, single bar guard with 32 1 2" gently curved blade still retaining it's original armorial engravings and the gold finish with Maker's initials under one of the longettes: FW KB. Brown leather grip bound in twisted brass wire still in place, though the leather has definitely deteriorated . Polished single fuller blade with great blued highlights. Definitely a great
